About the Uniform

The Type 36 field uniform, which was used in theearly stages of WWII, had a green collar andinsignia base. These were made the same coloras the rest of the uniform for the subsequentlyproduced Type 40.

About the Tripod

In 1942, the MG42 became the main machine gunof the German army, and a tripod was used toprovide accurate firing. Combined with opticalsights, it was able to provide firing range of over3000m. The collapsible tripod weighed 21kg andwas easily portable.
